Whilst within easy walking distance of popular Byres Road, Cottiers provides a more relaxed social alternative to the bustle of Ashton Lane or the nightlife of the city centre.
The distinctive downstairs bar at Cottier's is a popular social haunt for local people of all ages.
Upstairs Cottiers restaurant is a well-established feature of the eating out scene in Glasgow's West End.
This 70 seat-er restaurant is reached by a spiral stair from the outside or via the entrance to the downstairs bar. Beautiful shimmering gold ceilings, original salvaged church chairs, bespoke handcrafted gilt mirrors all contribute to elegance of the room. The views from the windows are of the illuminated church steeple and the mature gardens below.
Cottier's Restaurant Menu, once again has a Latin American feel which compliments the character of the decoration and style of the furnishings (Daniel Cottier's decoration in the church has a distinctly 'Aztec' character).
Our Two Course Special Menu is available Sunday to Thursday all night.
Cottier's Restaurant is the ideal venue for Private Hire celebrations and has hosted many Wedding Receptions over the years. Our management team will be delighted to help you organize all the details, from reception drinks on the terrace to the post meal ceilidh.
Cottier's Bar is a popular venue all year round. In the summer months the beautiful, extensive outside terraces provide a leafy setting for food and drink throughout the day. The Bar Menu is available to eat on the terrace midweek, and the barbecue fires up every weekend during summer, serving a delicious Barbecue Menu until late. In the winter months the candle lit interior and well-stoked fire will have you staying a little longer than you intended!
